Woodmont Country Club in Broward County, Florida offers its patrons the choice of two great championship 18-hole golf courses (Cypress and Pines). These courses provide a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. Challenging golf is blended with beautiful natural settings. Golfers who play our golf courses often say that they are among the most beautiful and enjoyable in the Fort Lauderdale area and Florida.

Rolling fairways set among mature trees, water views, elevated tees and contoured, undulating greens present a challenge to every caliber of golfer.

A multiple-tee system allows both golf courses to offer a challenge to the scratch golfer as well as the novice and those in between. In addition, if you enjoy competition, the men's golf committee sponsors frequent golf tournaments on Saturday mornings throughout the year and a well organized women's committee sponsors weekly tournaments on Tuesdays for both 9 and 18-hole women. Couples tournaments, holiday events, and special events all add to the fun of belonging to Woodmont Country Club as a member.

Florida Derby Golf Tournament Set For March 29

Gulfstream Park Racing & Casino will host the first annual Florida Derby Golf Tournament March 29 at Woodmont Country Club on our Cypress par 72, 7043 yard course, rated one of South Florida's top courses..

The Florida Derby Golf Tournament will benefit injured jockey Eibar Coa and the Florida Thoroughbred Retirement & Adoptive Care Program (TRAC).

The tournament, a four-person scramble, will be limited to the first 144 players at $150 per person. Players will receive welcome gifts, lunch and drinks and an awards banquet. There will also be a live auction held after the tournament hosted by Gulfstream analyst Ron Nicoletti.
